I.Introduction:
“Chinchilla” is from the Mountains of South America. Chinchilla’s were brought in the USA in 1923. In the USA there are a lot of people who are buying Chinchilla’s as house pets. Many people wonder what Chinchilla look like. Chinchilla’s looks like rabbits mixed with squirrels. They are usually they look gray in color.
II.The Chinchilla Body:
“Chinchillas” are are small and furry. Chinchillas are the size of a rabbit. Chinchillas have strong feet. Chinchilla’s eyes are large, and black.
III.The Chinchilla Diet:
Chinchillas are herbivores. Chinchillas don’t drink to much filtered. Chinchillas drink filtered water. If they don’t drink filtered water. They could get sick.
“Chinchilla” are special because they have good fur. Some people don’t hunt. Chinchillas like they use to hunt them. If a person kills a chinchilla they could go to jail, and get a tiket over $300.00 for killing a chinchilla. This man named Joseph Martin a 26 year old had to go to court, because he tried to abuse charge the Chinchilla.
IV.Life Where do Chinchilla live?
“Chinchillas” live in south America. Chinchillas make their dens in rocks Chinchillas live in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru. People found them living in the Mountains of Chile. They live in high valleys.
“Chinchillas” could have 2 or 3 babies at a their babies are born with their eyes open. A Chinchillas baby’s birth weight is approximately 35 grams or more.
V.Conclusion:
A Chinchilla’s life span is 10 years to 20 years. Some people don’t know about Chinchillas. There are approximately only 50 chinchillas in the USA.
VI.Facts
MY fact is their teeth never stop growing so they need to eat every time. They have to eat every day, because when they are eating. Their teeth is growing. They came here in 1923 to the USA. They come to play outside at night. Their body temperature is 96.8º - 100.4º.
