    Have you ever wondered why plants are so important to the environment? Why we always have to take good care of them? What plants do to help us stay alive? How plants grow from a seed to a plant? Why we have to make sure we do the right things to make the plant alive and fully grown?

    If yes, then all of these questions will be answered. Did you know that plants come in different sizes? Plants come in small to big sizes. There is one plant I know that is big. It is called a Stink Plant.

    Stink plants are one of the world’s largest plants. Some people call the Stink Plant the Titan Arum. The Titan Arum looks like a flower, but it is not. It is like a group of flowers clustered together around a central column, surrounded by leaves. Some people called it the Stink Plant because it smelled bad.

    Have you ever wondered why some plants stink? Some plants stink because the smell attracts insects. They need to attract lots of insects to ensure pollination. Pollination is important to plants. If there was no pollinaters to pollinate flowers, the world wouldn’t look beautiful and we wouldn’t be alive.

    Plants are really important to the environment. Some plants help us breathe. When we breathe out carbon dioxide, that is what plants breathe in. When plants breathe out oxygen, we breathe that in. Some people think plants are living things and some don’t.

    Who ever thinks plants are living things, they are right. Plants are living things because they can breathe. They can also store their own foods. Whenever it rains, it helps the plant grow. After the rain finishes, the sun would come out.

    Leaves protect the wet soil from the sun. Leaves have to protect the soil because  if the sun shines on the soil, the water from the soil would evaporate. The plants don’t only need water to survive. They also need sunli

ght. The sun helps the plant grow.

    Plants also need rich soil to grow. All plants need insects to help them grow. People need plants to survive. If we didn’t have any plants in the world, we would be in big trouble. There wouldn’t be any plants to feed the animals and if there is no food, the animals would die. If the animals die, we wouldn’t have any meat or vegetables and we would also die.

    Some plants depend on wind or gravity to transfer pollen. Others depend on the animals to do the transportation. The smell of the flower attracts pollinators that the plant is ready to be pollinated. Lots of animals or insects arrive to collect pollen from the plants. When the animal or insect collects the pollen, they drop some as they move. That is a good thing and not a bad thing when it drops because when it drops, it falls on other plants and that helps the plants grow.

    One of the most important parts of the plant is the seed. The seed controls the plant to grow. When the seed is first placed in the ground, it would start to grow. In a few  days, it would grow the roots. Then the stem and leaves would grow. Finally, sometimes the flower will be added to the plant.

    To us, plants are a kind of food and they give us oxygen. Plants don’t only do that, they do lots more. We should help more for the plants. All the people in the world should take care of plants. I think that plants are one of the most important things in the world.

       I really like plants. We get to take care of them and make them grow into something beautiful. What I learned about plants is that they can help us stay alive. When I learned that plants are living things, I was in a shock. I never knew that plants could breathe in what we breathe out.

      Plants are a really good topic to learn about. I learned lots of new facts that I never knew before. One important fact I learned about plants aren’t a plant without a seed. If there is no seed there is no plant. Now, I know more about plants than I did before.
